Hello guys,
I need an expert in the field to explain me the theory of the Royer oscillator in the bellow link (the first post by Marko I mean):
Actually I read the whole above thread and could not understand how the circuit does oscillate (and how do the diodes force one fet on while the other one is off. Yes actually I know how diodes and fets work (I am not able to analyses the voltages and the functioning of te circuit for a cycle))
Sorry but I tried a day searching via the net For theorys behind the Royer oscillators, specially the oscillator designed by Mrko but it seems there is so a few info regarding such oscillators, so I tried to start this thread becuase I am sure there are good experts in this forum to explain the marko's design to me.

Bjorn did a simulation of the ZVS flyback driver once. This may help make it make sense.
The gates are pulled down by the LC tank through the diodes making the FET turn off. As the voltage swings around, the other FET turns off that was previously on. Since the voltage on the first FET's gate is no longer pulled down, it charges back up through the pull up resistors.

Thanks but Actually the waveforms in your pic seem to not be clear, I don't know where do those waveforms refer to in the circuit?!
Actually I meant this circuit:
Please tell me how it does oscillate for the first time after turnning it on and then for acycle please. The other question is that I want to know what will happen to the back EMF generated by RFC's after the related FET is off for part of a cycle?
Thanks a bunch
P.S what's the output voltage the LC tank in the said circuit and why? Somebody told me that it is pi*Supply!?

by the way Marko used a capacitor bank for the tanks section of it's design, is every body Able to say me the reason of using a PARALLEL capacitor bank please?

Hi,
that one is simple enough - caps are used in parallel to boost the overall current rating. Several lower capacitance caps in parallel dissipate power better than one big cap, and also have more leads to spread the 20A+ RF current over.
