I found this article while researching plasma speakers on the web. The author callis it a "Corona Wind Loudspeaker". In this design, he uses a high voltage discharge assembly in a "triode" configuration to produce a modulated corona wind. Very interesting concept! You guys who are researching and building plasma speakers would be interested in reading this article.
