The "best" heatsink is one that provides proper cooling, has good mechanical features, and costs a reasonable price for the project that it is intended to be used on. It is not necessarily one that cost you nothing. wink

That's funny, i have that exact heatsink... Let me guess, you got it from a stereo with 2 channels based on a 2SB1594 and 2SD2449?

Same here!

A great source of free heatsinks I have found is my local metal recycling center. They have bins of small aluminum parts that are usually half full of heatsinks. The guys that work let me grab some small bits for free whenever I stop by.
