Hi all.
Just scored two (!) working cameras from the scavenging yard.
1 IR waterproof which as expected had a bad cable where it goes into the camera.
Turns out this was the only problem, it now works fine.
1 colour CCD "bullet" which had a bad cable.
Despite this it seems to work fine, gets a bit hot but this is old technology and to be expected.
Lovely colour high res picture, probably TV resolution and only needs the cable fixing it seems.
Also got a spare broken 1.5MP camera with intact 128MB Smartmedia, and a bunch of other bits
including two Lightscribe SATA DVD writers.
Feel free to add your best junk yard rescues, kerb salvage, etc.
Only rule is that it has to have been either free, or traded for something not so useful.
