has anybody ever thought about buying a huge truck inner tube off of ebay inflating it and painting it with conductive paint or aluminum foil tape? these iner tubes are huge and very cheap you could make one for a total cost of 80 dollars including the cost of the paint. megavolt ES charges are within possibilty

Read the above thread. Heres my idea, use expanding polyurethane foam the 2 part one, then fill through the shrader vlave (by removing it) the let it expand to inflate the tube, when its fully cured, cut the rubber tube off.
poof...instant light weight large toriod, cover surface to be conductive.
