I was recently asked to look into what would be required to create a strong magnetic field for producing scintered magnets.
Although all the scintering is being handled by someone else, can anyone give me some links to resources on what kind of magnetic field is required and how this is typically produced.
In it's simplest form I would suspect we need a coil and some way of applying DC in controlled fashion. Amps being more important than volts in this instance.

Thanks - it would have taken me a while to pair fixture with magnetizing.
Although I did google a bunch of other things - but that article is the clearest thing I've read yet.
UPDATE: Actually this is just about perfect - thanks again.
