 		I have a question. I need a fast power diode for my buck converter and I found a double schottky rectifying diode in that big PSU I took apart. Link2

Can I tie to diodes together for more amperage? (Does a schottky diode have a positive temperature coefficient)

 		I tried this recently, but not with shottkys. They seem to be sharing the current ok.

Try it and see, limit the current to what one will take and see if they both warm up the same.

I found they didn't all switch on together, but as the current increased, they shared the load more evenly.

 		I have paralleled two 20A/1200v schottky's for my buck converter. I have taken it to over 12kw of output power. I suggest water cooling them.

There's 2 in there, Plus 2x irfp 460s 2x irfp250's, some thick litz wire, and some more schottkys.

At the power levels I am using I am using my trialed and successful watercooling system. I presume most here who work with this amperage are familiar with how to set something up, but if there are those who want to know I can take some pictures of my cooling setup. It is the same one I've used for cooling my mosfets and igbts.

 		A commercial induction heater capapble of 10kw is easily over $10k.

A smps or scr power control is usually near $1500.
