I'm designing a circuit, is the base of the circuit and it says test Input, is that pulse width modulation? I don't need pulse width modulation, so do i just not put anything there?

how much do I vary it? the values i'm putting in to the circuit will make the chip run at 110khz, then it will be interrupted with a 555 chip.
