Every year during winter season Home Depot sets up a display to advertise insulation efficiency among different window types.
The setup is, an incandescent IR lamp illuminating the window, the other side of the window having some kind of a sensor that looks like a bulb with black & white wheel spinning in vacuum depending on the amount of IR received.
What are those detection devices? I never got a good look at them.
