Hey i pulled this rectifier from an old welder i found but have no idea how to wire it, also i cant find any specs on the diodes due to them being blank so i don't know how many amps i could push through it safely. seeings as i wanted to use it on a rewound MOT for electrolysis. so any tips or help anyone can give is appreciated!

I would disassemble it and use the components to make a smaller rectifier. It must be a bit old. Looks homemade. I am almost convinced that those connecting posts are drive straps from a pressure plate assembly for an automotive clutch.

From what you are holding in your hand I would say thats
a 25 Amp 100 Volt bridge.

If im not mistaken, the 4 black button looking thingies are the actual diodes. I've seen diodes in the same package in the 25 to 50A range.

When you salvage things keep a note
of the size of the wires that it was attached to.

Why that rectifier looks that way might be it
was a furnished replacement for a selanium rectifier
that was no longer made. The unit would be the
general shape only much larger. By making it
the way you found it, all the old wiring would fit.
