Hi all,

I've got the multiplier stage from a few Glassman power supplies:
1291067115 1938 FT0 P1110401 1291067115 1938 FT0 P1110402
1291067115 1938 FT0 P1110409 1291067115 1938 FT0 P1110412

In the third picture, the big left one is a full wave CW multiplier with 20 stages.
The other two are from a 60KV Glassman supply, and the good thing is that one is a negative and the other is a positive. These two also have a resistive+capacitive divider, on top of the multiplier board, to measure/control the output.

Can anyone point me to some schematics, driver ideas? I will draw and upload the schematics for these blocks soon.

Thanks!

They look excellent and very useful, Radhu!

You could do all sorts of interesting things with them, so don't let anyone persuade you to ruin them by drawing arcs and sparks from them, over-drive them, or operate them without any dielectric oil - you could wait years before finding any more of them so good, believe me! smile

I absolutely agree with Proud Mary. Furthermore, don't let anyone to persuade you into selling these, except for me, because i have ten thousands uses cheesey. However, if you did sell one i would trade a good amount of stuff, such as a 50kw pig wink.

A schematic of the primary with the datasheets of the components on the primary side will help tremendously. Until then, i can not make any suggestions so that you can keep these in working order. Afterall, these are incredibly beautiful devices!

Thanks, Ash, that is actually quite helpful. At least i know some of those devices i see are TVSs. But, we still need the exact schematic of his specific one, in case that is not the same schematic. It does not have the transformer in that schematic, so i can only assume it is not the same one.
