HI

My newest project is a HV generator on this TL494 (woner chip :) ), i have the shematics for generator, and drivers (its will be i hope a Halfbridge generator ), but the problem is the power part of the generator , i have this wonderful IGBT`s [HGTG11N120CND] :

Link2

but i dont now ho to run them (without a grey smoke :D ) , mb some have a shematic for the H-bridge, the power for the bridge i think i make 300-400VDC (similar to pc power supply)

Hello
Is anybody hear? :)
/silence

I have one more question , may be some answers it in this year :)

Ho long can be the wires (leads) of the GDT? I will split my circuit in two parts one with generator and the drivers , the other will be the power part with GDT, IGBT`S, trafo ~ 15v for all electronics and all other stuff. My idea is connect the outgoing signal from generator with the GDT with screaned cable length about 10-15cm (dependent on case for PS)

Not a serious problem. The frequency will not be so high, and anyway there are the huge input capacitances of the IGBTs as load for the transformer.

Thanks!
This Weekend (too much work in working days, cannot go to my Lab :((( ) then i will try to make the first version of my new HV PS :)

Im thinking now about current protection for the power section, im add some current transfo 1:20 to control the output current and protect IGBT`s i have one idea i will post it later:)
