Are you trying to connect the computer to get internet through the phone or the phone to get to the internet from the phone through the computer which is connected to a modem of sorts?

The second one may be possible by creating an ad-hoc network on your computer, the first one would require a 3rd party (probably illegal) application for your phone.

the second one, want to connect from phone to pc to access internet connection on pc(shared), so I can use my desktop internet over phone, I've created ad hoc, found the connection by phone, but unable to get connected, after searching a lot, for connecting phone to computer, found that it needs AP(access point) to be defined, I don't know to define AP over ad hoc!

Maybe your phone just doesn't support ad-hoc mode. I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case.

thanks Steve, problem solved.:-D
The problem was in phone's firm ware, I've tried to connect to ad-hoc directly from phones browser.
The phone's firmware did not support ad-hoc direct detection & connection, so after playing around settings in conn.manager and defining AP as ad-hoc on phone, managed to connect to wifi.
Thanks again.
