AFM file viewer help

I need a way to open and edit AFM files (Adobe Font Metric) .
Im using an arduino uno and a seeedstudio SD sheild to play an audio file from sd card.
My problem is the sketch is looking for .AFM files on the card.

All the "free" viewers seem to want to add BS to my tool bar or charge 19.95 ect..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sketch came with an example.afm file so my circuit is good.
Tried adobe but it cant open for some reason. Notepad and wordpad also no go.

Think about it, why in the world would an audio player need a font file?! Read this.

I realize there are better ways to work with audio files (wav shield or the like) but I already have these boards.
