OK well you guys caught me where I have to get rid of some of my stash, both cause I need the cash and the room. So I have some USED caps. (never by me yet) so they have not been seen railgun abuse yet :P
QTY 21 Evox RIFA PEH 200 series caps they are 3300uF @ 420 VDC 11 mOhm ESR and 17 nH ESL 75mm x 145mm
They have 6mm heavy duty screw terminals, safety vent and heavy duty plastic outside with mounting tabs.
The full part number is PEH200OV433CMUV-M6

Each cap is 291 Joules all 21 would be 6.112kJ

Attached is the Data Sheet http://www.evoxrifa.ru/assets/files/PEH200.pdf

I am asking 10$ each plus shipping they all weight about 30lbs.
I would prefer them to all go to one person as they all match nicely and would make a great capacitor bank for someone. But if you need a different QTY I guess lets talk.

Sent this to someone who was looking for capacitors for a railgun!

Nice caps, love the mounting holes.

BTW, your link has ".pdfl" instead of ".pdf"

EDIT: Wow, he replied fast. He will take them all! PMing you his email.

OK. I sent him an email. I was glad to see them all go as a group they will look beautiful as a cap bank. A couple other people emailed me as well so if this falls through, you guys are next in line. I am moving and will have to be downsizing some of my things that I have not immediate plans for, so keep an eye on this thread in the next month or so.

Fixed link thanks for seeing that.

Do you suggest a traditional bank layout, like: Link2
or a type like this:

Link2

From what I know the second layout is better, how do these caps stand horizontal mounting?

I prefer a bank like your second one, but not in parallel but in series for 3 reasons.

That small of a bank you will get better results over coming resistance because of higher voltage.
You have less buss bar connection points that carry large amounts of current.
Since they are in series you will waste lest off your for directly on the rails of the cap bank. There are Lorentz forces within your bank as well.
