Hi all! I'm selling the massive discharge system.
For sale is my 22kj capacitor bank, wired in 9 strings of 450vDC @ 24,000uf. Each string consists of ten paralleled 450vDC @ 2400uf electrolytic capacitors and stores 2,430j of energy! Entire bank consists of NINETY 450vdC @ 2400uf electrolytic capacitors.
The charger puts out approx. 5kv and is built using two microwave transformers. A variac allows slowly ramping up the voltage to the bank as it charges.
The 4/0 cables allow connecting the output of the bank to the pancake coil, or whatever else you want to surge with massive amounts of electricity.
Price is negotiable, serious offers considered. To be picked up locally from Hagerstown, MD area.
If you do not have previous experience with high voltage, massive energy storage systems or electricity in general, do NOT start with this. This system is LETHAL if mis-treated. Sold AS-IS. Works perfectly, I'm moving into more of the high voltage side of experimentation and wish to reclaim garage space.
