heh.. who'd have thought that magnesium would increase Tc.
Now, an interesting experiment would be to attempt a similar substitution with the known Sn5In compound , to see if this results in >240K superconductivity and/or higher ratio of useful material with lower toxicity materials..
i had an interesting thought about diffusing tin vapour through a precursor pellet under high temperature to adjust the ratio of Sn to In more finely than would otherwise be possible, combined with electromigration under high temperature to see if this makes any difference to the useable fraction.
