I can only guess comparing it to some that I have on hand. The smaller one looks like it is close to 50w. The bigger one is over 100W. It might be 250W.

the big one is a resitive wire as stated was measured it a 4ohms therf both from large dc power supplys, smaller on is from a 12v 50A supply and th big one is from a 30V-50V, 300A-600A supply i aslo got a 140000uf 50V cap from the large supply

Dont run the big one so the element glows! It is made by winding that sidewise strip on a poreclean tube and then dipping it in a ceramic glaze and baked.
The resistor will end up loose.
Did you get all 4 of them out of the box and the ammeter too? How about the mounting hardware?

whats the wattage for these resistors?
