Well apparently David Hahn is getting a movie. Did anyone know about this? I just found out.

I remember perfectly well both the stupidity of the boy, and the absurd, alarmist reaction of the corporate media, who found in Hahn exactly what they wanted to find in amateur science.

He has done none of us a favour.

maybe it's not smart to make this movie, maybe it's gonna make people realize that they can do anything, if they know how to...

But that is the truth and I think it would be highly beneficial if more kids today asked how and why.

I don't think this will be a hit with teens at the box office... I'm not so sure that it will show in theaters either.

hmm.. yeah i read about that in "Reader's Digest".

What worries me is that the Feds will use this movie as an excuse to shut down the fusor researchers, "OMG XRAYS RUN AWAY" .. which would do no-one a favour.

i am holding off on my vacuum chamber just in case they decide to change the rules in the near future, even though the pump I have is nowhere near good enough for even low level xray production, though with helium it might do electron beams.

what annoys me is that low level radiation is present all around us yet you can't even legally own a pinhead sized sample of Am241 if its out of the device it was originally installed in.
I had plans to make a linear scanner based "xray" machine using a row of these mounted on an old scanner assembly up until the source (LOL!) of my dead alarms dried up.

"Bother" said Pooh, as the dosimeter hit 3000 Rems...
