I built a standard ZVS flyback diver i used all the parts listed here
i was wondering if those parts could handle a 12v 20 amp power supply and would it be better to use a higher voltage low amp power supply. Its my understanding that the voltage relates to the length of the arc and the amps relate to the heat of the arc.
-thank you

12v should be fine. It should not draw more than the current it needs based upon your circuit. A 20A supply is a bit overkill but it will not affect your circuit.
