I have an iMac. Is there video software that will allow me to take raw video and save it with the playback speed accelerated or slowed down? I have not checked if iMovie can do this.

Final cut pro is one of the best editing programs on the market, mac or pc. Its 1200 bucks, but if you know a friend who has a copy they bought and dont use anymore youll be in like flynn Adobe premier would also do the trick, carries an 800 dollar price tag as well. Mac is pretty much the industry standard for audio and video editing. The software IS out there but it IS very expensive!

You can do this on iMovie. Whilst you are editing your video, click on the timeline viewer icon that is located on the bottom-left of your video.
Then you should see a slider with a rabbit and a turtle on both sides. Drag the slider towards the rabbit to make your video go faster, the turtle being the opposite.
