Could someone help me find a datasheet for this flyback? I have looked on Dönberg Electronics websites with the product search, and google. I wasn't able to find the correct search form on the HR Electrónica website for flybacks. Pictures below. Thanks for any help.

For convenience, here is a the model numbers I found on it so you can copy/paste if you want:

According to this seller

Link2

E159656C is equivalent to FAO0203.

And from the HR site we see that FAO0203 is equivalent to HR47819, which HR have discontinued.

E159656C has the most Google leads identifying it as a flyback/LOPT so you may get somewhere with it if you persevere. smile

Still unable to find a datasheet. FAO0203 isn't one of the models numbers in the images... Am I missing something? Anyway I think I have the pins I need figured out but I am still curious about it's extra pins and a curious capacitor winding sound and charging then discharging for a long time after there is no power to it. It has two extra pins on the bottom, and three focus/white balance controls. There is an extra image below of the transformer, maybe it could help in identifying those pins. (pins are the ones at the top, three of them). Looks like the cap is probably right next to the focus controls and all.

If they seem not to be connected to anything, or to eachother, in resistance tests, I would assume that they are inert anchor pins to improve the mechanical stability of the unit on the board, a common practice with larger units.

I can't think what you mean by "a curious capacitor winding sound," but in the absence of a data sheet you might do best by drawing up a resistance map of the pins, so you can group together pins common to each winding, and identify (and exclude) the supplementary output windings that such LOPTs always carry.

110V primary windings often - but not always - have a 55V centre tap, and more rarely two of more additional tap offs. Your LOPT will certainly have a multi-tapped supplementary secondary to deliver power to other sub-systems, in addition to the diode split EHT winding in which you are interested.
