I just use one of these, It was a quick and dirty solution that just ended up staying. I made a cam that presses the trigger each rotation, works well at high speed too.

Nice, I did something similar to what I saw on youtube. Got a calculated at the dollar store, did 1+1, and wired my PVC pipe to hit equals every 360 degrees.
