hey guys ...

today i tested the mots out of my oil filled box
and i noticed that mot1 was in an short circuit(so it got very hot after a few seconds)

now iÂ´ve wired them in series and there is now the 15cm arc i was waiting for.

this time i fed them with the 230v line and i had no ballast and it works about 5 minutes before the safety device switched the electricity off.

no the core is not a ferrite core
itÂ´s iron 4,5cm x 4,5cm
itÂ´s from an old halogen transfromer which was broken (230/12V)
now the mot without secondary probably will work,but iÂ´ll take my ring-core
