My Car Accident

I just got the car 2 months before this happened i put a turbo kit and everything in it got 285HP out of it not the insurance company owns it cry I also put work in to the interior I got rear ended turning in to work after lunch about three weeks ago I was the only one hospitalized torn muscles in my back neck and shoulder I figured I should post this to show you all how strong Volvo,s are the van hit my at 53MPH and pushed me into the other lane I broke my seat and of course my knees went into the steering column broke a tooth and my glasses my Blackberry got destroyed and it was kind of neat how the heater control and radio came right out of the dash as well as the folded steering wheel.

Hey Chris - bad smash. Hope you recover soon and no-one was too badly hurt.

We have a Volvo as a family car - a V70 D5 - built like a tank - always feel pretty safe in that...

285bhp out of a front wheel Volvo 850 (first one Volvo shipped to the US) - bet that could be scary in the wet...

It had a turbo 5CYL engine it was kind of neat I upgraded the turbo with a TD05 instead of the TD04 which had a bigger compressor wheel and turbine 20PSI only spent $200.

Yikes. Glad you weren't hurt badly.

Don't be afraid to talk to a lawyer. My parents had someone completely total their car after they had put a lot of work into it, and the insurance company wouldn't even pay blue book, just whatever similar age and model cars were going for in the local auto trader. No recognition at all of the fact that it had a new transmission, new engine, new tires, etc. They had to threaten to sue for pain and suffering just to get back to square one.

yea I am supposed to here from the guys insurance company within the next few days the car was worth $3500 they say they are going to take care of hospital bills my car glasses a dentist and lost time at work to bad New Hampshire does not do the pain and suffering thing but the guy that hit me was from Arizona so maybe I could try.
