hello of people
I is thereby MOT a stack to build
I would like 4 MOT stack to build
my problem is however that I at home only 16 ampere of safety device has and mots the too much river to pull
thus throttle can do 1 MOT with short circuit second.
one can take there also so a transformer as throttle
prime: 240 v 0,52 A
Sev 24/4.17A
100Va
I should with 4 MOT stack mots in oil cool
also because of the arcs estimated could due to the strong tension, or became a strong fan to be enough?

Sry for my bad english im from germany ;)
Love of greetings Micha0_0

If I understand you correctly then yes I have seen people soak them in mineral oil to keep them cool. But you will need a ballast to limit current. I suggest using one mot with a shorted secondary for this purpose as discussed here. Link2
What are you using them for? A tesla coil? or just drawing arcs? Be aware that just one MOT can easily kill you vary quickly! Be safe and careful!

thanks for your reply

yes i´ll need a ballast
can i use the transformer which i wrote above or have i to use a mot for ballast

is it better to cool them im oil with a big fan ?
if the mots acr in the coil are they broken?

yes ill make the mot stack for an small tesla coil and some arcing...
but if an 4x mot stack would not work ,would an 2x stack enough for a tasla coil

There are some folks here who speak German well. If the answers are not perfectly clear please continue to ask - as the safety issues are more important than the performance issues.

You should not be getting arcing: keep wires clear from each other; use only appropriate sizes & clean soldier joints.
Using MOTs and Tesla Coils depend on the size and type of coil. A Vacuum Tube type Tesla Coil would be fine with MOT's. Remember that even with 4 MOTs you may not get more than 7-8Kv but relatively high current & the complications that brings.
Better to use NST's if you can. No need for ballasts, additional insulation, or array configuration. They are more flexible & safer; including fire danger.
NEON sign shops may give them away if you ask. I was in Dresden & we drove to Prague. There are many Pubs / dance-clubs that have Neon signs. And where there are Neon signs, there are NSTs.

yes but mostly nst´s are very expensive
and mots i often get from my friend
they have a shop and i get all of the broken microwaves for free
and thats very important to me

is a vacuum tube tesla coil easier to build ?
an they are mostly very small
i thougt about an 40 CM high sec. on an 75mm pvc pipe
and an MMC with rotary spak gap

other thing:
do anyone know where i can get an POLE PiG ?

You should not be getting an arc over inside the secondary coil. If you are, then the mot is having some problems. You can use one Mot to make a VTTC. Here is a good selection. Link2
This one is particlularly simple and only requires one MOT. Link2

As far as keeping the MOTS cool, submerging them in oil will definately help. A fan will likely not do much for long term or short term use. As for your english. You could always try a language converting software if it is a barier between you getting assistance on your project. Otherwise, I am sure that someone whill be able to figure out what you need and lend you a hand.

Good Luck
