hi friends.
I've completed my last coil and now I'm going to make my second coil "AMIR MAGNIFIER" .
let me increase your information about my supply and my capacitor(which can upgrade anytime i want .)
i have a 12 KV @ 3 mA NST i think iron cored and a capacitor which is 0.15 nF ( calculated by capacitor meter ) and of course a safety gap .
now i want to know how to calculate dimensions ( or you do it :D )
i can get 6 to 20 cm in diameter pipes for the secondary and extra form .
and i have a 17 turns primary which i can change.
and magnet wire is something that i have much of it .
what i have in mind is 150 turns of secondary and 1500 to 2000 turns of extra .
whats your idea and of course help ?
TNX

Are you sure your NST is 3mA or is that a typo. I couldnt imagine getting any sort of tesla use from 3mA

If you want info on how to build and design Magnifiers, I would recommend Richard Hulls video series on the topic which was published by TCBOR probably about 10-15 years ago.

Just search Richard Hull, TCBOR, Videos and you should find an ordering link somewhere.

Oh, come on! You're not even trying. Googling "Richard Hull TCBOR" brings up the link as the 2nd one in the search results.

Plus you don't need credit card. Just mail Richard a money order.
