This is funny. Now Apple is claiming there *isn't* a reception problem, but rather the equations built into the phone for showing the number of bars displayed is the issue.

Yeah, right. Thats too funny. Another hardware problem blamed on the software . . .

Yea, that does sound a little fishy! I actually just updated my original 3g to the 4.0 firmware a few days ago. There was
numerous times when my phone would drop calls when it claimed to have full signal strength. I have not noticed that
problem anymore as of yet, but all of my apps open faster now!! Woo Hoo!!
In all honesty, my first iphone (the aluminum jobbie) was actually much better as far as being a phone! Never dropped
a call once. Full bars everywhere i went!! Maybe thats why i payed almost 400 bucks for it when it came out, it was a
better product? Who knows! I plan on waiting for the release of the 4gs! Ironically, this reminds me of microsoft with xp home and
all of its bugs turning into xp pro after the millions of complaints. Don't get me wrong, i love apples stuff. I have a macbook pro and
id never go back to a pc. I hope they work it out because i want one!!
