I was wondering if anyone has an extra 24"x6" toroid they could sell me for a somewhat low price. I might be willing to trade some stuff for one. Just let me know what you are after and I will see what I have and we can work something out.

Thanks,

The resonance research website (Link2 does not specifically say that they sell the stuff they talk about, I guess you have to email them to get a quote? I assume I contact DC Cox through the address listed on the web page, **link**? Thanks

Resonance Research is one guy. His primary business is commercial Tesla coils and high voltage apparatus. But he does sell parts to amateurs. Just email the guy and ask. He'll let you know if he has any and the price. No need for a quote or anything formal.

I got a quote from Resonance Research yesterday thanks for suggesting that. Before I buy the toroid I am going to get quotes from other sources as well and determine which one I think I most reasonable. In your book "DRSSTC: Building the Modern Day Tesla Coil" you mention that you got the 24"x6" toroid for I think your DRSSTC II from O.W. Landergren. How much did that cost?

The best price you'll get is likely from Dr. Resonance. He buys his toroids in bulk, so he can pass on the savings to you.
If you buy a single piece from O.W. Landergren, you'll pay a lot more. Probably $600-800 for a single piece is my guess.
