hello,

since I am not a pro in electronics I have few questions.

I have opened and token out the transformer of plasma ball. I guess this is high voltage transformer. I want to use it for making a t a s e r g u n . But the point is, the transformer is blocked. I cannot reach the transformer. It is glued. I cannot see whats inside. One more thing I didnot understand is, the poles of transformer. 2 pose is input 2 pole is output and whats that fifth pole ?

FYI I am attaching photos. and a video.

That's normal. The guts are epoxied in and you really don't wanna remove that if you wanna keep using it.

thanks. how is the wiring diagram of the transformer? which pole is input which is output? Can I connect two transformers in serries?

Look at how it was connected to the driving circuit and you can figure out how the windings are. Or just measure the resistances between pairs of pins.
You probably can connect two transformers with the secondaries "back to back", with the low-voltage ends grounded and the high-voltage ends with opposite polarities.

i dont follow everything you have said, but you may not have ehuff experience to do what you want.

first, dont unpot, or unglue, the transformer, you want it intact.
second, if you are saying that you cant idenitify the 5 pins, then i will hazard a guess:

pins 1-2 are input
pins 3-4 maybe output, one HV large diameter, the other a pin to ground plane.
pin 5 maybe a faraday shield (passive), between the pri and sec coil, and this pin goes to ground too.
EDIT: the above applies to what i see in the middle pic

finding which is wich might be difficult.

I'd say that the two grey are the input.
The black one is obviously the HV out.
The 2 red ones are perhaps a feedback coil?
Do not unpot the transformer, it is needed to withstand the HV. Inside there will be many many turns of hair thin wire to make up the secondary, very delicate, not to be messed with.
A t.... works a bit like an electric fence I imagine. You could use the output to charge another circuit so I'd leave it as is.

if it is a stun gun you want you might be better off with a small iggy coil, plasma globes tend to be to weak on voltage. To establish the load phase from the arc phase, you need high voltage first, then lower voltage at pulsed current for incapacitation.

thanks for replies.

thanks for your safety advices. I know how dangerous it can be.

This former has 5 polles not 6. I dont know where is 6th pole. I am confused :S

Please see images.

I measures the poles.

A-B = 0,9 ohm
C-D = 0,8 ohm
A-E = 1,219 Kohm
B-E = 1,218 Kohm

no connection on other poles.

Please help me to figure out this former.

edit: red small wires go to speaker. for a stupid music

ok this is more useful let me see those numbers...

well first if you insist on using that transformer, then solder it back on that board, and use that circuit to power your buzz box, and cut the speaker off if you dont like the music when you have to tase someone.

you arnt a terrorist or a criminal are you ?
i dont want to put weapons in the wrong hands.

i think you need to give us a schematic of that board too.

EDIT: C-D appears to be by itself, a primary or afeedback i cant tell.
also A-B-E i cant isolate these pinsfunctions, based on what youve given.

Solder the transformer back onto that little board, and cut the speaker off. Driving the transformer by itself is not as simple as connecting a power source, you need to pulse it at a couple hundred Khz.
