you mean my XRT design isn't going to work ?
how much voltage and ampere do they need ?

It will work, but it won't produce focused x-rays. Images made with them will be blurry.

I would say 50kv @1mA is fine.

as i said i don't want to make pictures , i just want to build one for my self and if i see its effects it makes me happy and Would be sufficient.
and you mean 12Kv @ 30 ma isn't good?
new idea : connecting a wire from top of my tesla coil (because of its HV ) to anode or cathode and connect other side of my tube to ground .

12kv X-rays wouldn't even make it through the glass. You could definitely produce some though with the ignition coil/dimmer switch setup though. Also, you'll need a phosphor screen in the crt if you want the beam to be visible.

I wouldn't do the tesla coil idea because stopping 300kv+ x-rays is ridiculously hard. That also means most will pass through the gieger tube leading you to believe there are less x-rays than are there.

there is a way to produce x-ray out of a magnetron from witch you remove the magnet ,at list there you have vacuum ,the emission is escaping from the ceramic seal, like it was said before ,at 12kv you won't get much x-ray out ,unless you have a special windows material, maybe a fine aluminum plate... there are number way to get a single spot emission from you tube ,in mine ,the cathode is having the electron emitting hot wire perpendicular to the 45 degrees cooper anode ,so that when you look in front ,the electron beam make a line witch can be seen as a dot from the side.It is possible to by vacuum epoxy on-line and from what I heard from the laser community,it work very well ,assuming the rest is done carefully .so let's take ,for instance a tl ,the cap is gently remove from one side and the small glass feeling tube is broken ,instead, you fix a small glass tube seal with vacuum epoxy ,on the other side you go to your local metal shop and ask to cut a coper rood witch have a diameter who fit in the tl ,with a 45 degrees angle ,and seal it to the tube (after you remove the fosfore of course),well ,if your tube is leak free ,and you happen to have a dual stage vacuum pomp + a molecular pump that you can run for few days ,gently warming up you set up with an hair drier, you may get a good enough vacuum to produce x-ray and think of sealing the tube with a blow torch,my experience is that if you manage to make an x-ray tube on your own witch work ,you can be proud of yourself ,but there is nothing to loose by trying...
