I still haven't tried the mazilli circuit. I killed the 2ndary winding on my flyback before i could get around to it. Haven't harvested a new flyback since then. But everyone does seem to love it, so yeah, what Odium said.

Is the skin effect null and non applicable when your taking power from a tesla coil because your skin isn't very thick nor conductive?
In other words isn't it a bad idea to let a tesla coil shock you,
I know you can't feel it but isn't it damaging?

Do not let the word "skin" fool you, it has nothing to do with human skin, electric current will always take the path of least resistance, your large blood vessels, so if enough current is passed it will boil your blood / muscles.

You can feel it, it may of may not be damaging... Here is a good read about pharmaceutical use of high frequency electricity, it describes how it works, effects on the human body etc.: Link2

I was told that High frequency RF burns will burn your body from the inside out. You may not even feel it. My coil for example was not an extreme situation. After a few minutes the tip of your finger would get numb. Just be safe! I would not recommend playing with it. Nerve damage can take up to 6 months to heal. As for the mazilli driver here is a photograph of the bigest arcs that I have achieved so far using this circuit. Unfortunately this run killed my flyback. I was overpowering it with 48v.
If you look at my profile photo you will see what the driver produces with a 24v 2A transformer.
