Hi all. Have three sets of these, each includes some EL sheet, some viewing film (single and double sided laminated if you have a use), a piece of mica suitable for small insulators and geiger tubes, a white LED strip , red or green modwire * 2 feet, and some zinc sulphide based GITD film (the infrared quenchable kind) included is a mystery pcb,it can vary but is often full of useful components.
anyone interested? i confirmed that these can be used to examine "mystery" magnets to determine the pole locations and if they have been damaged, as well as a number of other uses.
the GITD film can be attached to the top of a fan with a few LEDs and sensor on opposite sides to make a primitive optical delay line or uv leds for a message display :)
asking £12 or equivalent (am after a spare working IGBT brick or thyristor suitable for a spot welder, have a 1F 12V rated capacitor here)
if anyone wants some I also have a couple of feet of green EL wire.. asking £5. have some 10F 2v5 supercaps, £4 each.
