Hello all,
This is my first post in a LONG while, and a rather menial one for such a reintroduction. Nevertheless, I have continued my work over several personal projects.
For one of these projects, I would like to use some sort of translucent blue coating for aesthetic reasons. I have done a few quick searches on the Internet for possible products and suppliers, but the lack of appreciable results shows that I don't know what sort of product I should be looking for.
I have heard of acrylic coating sprays, and this seems to be pointed in the right direction. After doing searches for this type of coating, I have seen such products as KRYLON spray-on enamel and other similar paints, but is this sort of enamel translucent? If not, what type or sort of chemical should I use in order to achieve a translucent coating?
Any help is greatly appreciated, especially after such a long period of silence on this forum.
Other Information: This coating is needed to be placed on aluminum metal. I don't know whether this requirement will make a significant impact on the choice of coating, but the products that I have seen so far can be applied to metals.
