Few questions about predikter

Hi I have some questions about this driver. In fact, most is understandable for me but I want to know if my CT are good. At this moment I have finished driver and intermediate H bridge like in this coil. I plain to use the feedback CT made on TN32 core of 3E25 material (ferrox cube) same as Finn (50turns and 0.5Ohm burden with 15uH coil in series - can't find good quality 1uH in my country

) at OCD section I plain to use 1ohm burden because my bridge run at no more than 1kA. Next question concerns igbt gate resistors. Finn didn't use diode in parallel with gate resistors if I proper understanding everything they are not needed. I know what is the correct gate waveform in the system with diodes but I dont know what should be here. Can I use a standard circuit with diodes? And last question is why He dont use capacitors in series with primary of gdt?.
