Hi all.

I finally got around to taking apart Gran's old microwave.
When I was originally given it, the unit kept tripping the ELCB intermittently, yet it never did it when i used the MW. So it got reassigned to the kitchen.

Eight months later, and said microwave was surplus to requirements :( so it got added to my "will salvage parts" pile. Took the lid off today and this is what I found. Eww!

I can imagine that:

mouse: w00t! nice warm RFI choke (sticks his head trough a ''window'' to see what is under his new flat)

*zap*

mouse: death
mouse: cooked, crispi-ised and mummyfied for next 8 months

*elcb trips*

that is very funny and gross in the same time, especially the position the mouse suceeded to fry itself, sticking head between mains plugs!

It seems well preserved for all the time, obivously because of repeated cooking in trials to power the oven up.

phooy!
