hmm This tube will be good for VTTC ?

I think to run it with a 1 line of My Neon sign transformer (4000V)

yes i think it would be good. the only thing is is you connect the screen to plate like some people, then thats not good because the screen is rated to 900v. but then again lots of people over drive their tubes

You will have to be more careful with ceramic tubes as you do not have the visual warning of red plates as in a glass tube.

The construction of the filament transformer could be interesting. A really heavy duty soldering gun or two could be used to get the secondary close to the tube.
Do you intend to get the tube to act as an oscillator in a system powered by the NST? If so, you could experiment with reduced filament voltage and see what happens.
