I thought this sounded cool enough to share. I recorded this yesterday. Enjoy. :)

Sounds awesome! Definitely one of the best audio modulated DRSSTCs i've ever seen / heard!

The clarity is fantastic!

Nice work!

Where in PA are you located?

I live in Kingston, over the bridge is Wilkes-Barre. About 10 minutes south of Scranton. Due to having neighbors that can't be reasoned with, my coil has to go on road trips to test it. I test it at work (on weekends) which is about 15 minutes outside of Allentown. Beautiful farmland area, so, it's impossible to get complaints. :)

I thank you for your compliment, and yes, it actually impresses me too. :)

I did a 3 coil orchestra Saturday. A few Metallica tunes almost had my eyes pop out, but the microphone in my camera did not pick this up well at all. Sounded phenomenal to be there though...

The secret to this coils sound is that it can do 4 note polyphonic. To make that possible (in my opinion), I incorporated dynamic duty cycle. Another feature all MIDI programmers (I prefer the AVR) MUST add is "pitch bend". This allows for the sliding guitar. There are a few more features I'd like to add, but I'll get into that after the next release in a few months.

The target was 50 inches. I would like to upgrade from CM150DY-12NF to CM300DY-12NF before I raise both the OCD limit and also raise the dynamic duty cycle limits...

Thanks for watching. :)

Oh, your way up there.

Neighbors? For real? In your neck of the woods you should be able to set off a small nuclear bomb and not have anyone worry about it!

Most of the surrounding area when viewed from above is all green. I however live in one of the small towns adjacent to the Susquehanna river.

Back to the video, to be fair, I must also credit the video's quality to the the piece the coil actually had to play. It just worked so well with a DRSSTC. If anyone else wants to see what their coil does with this MIDI, try it. You might like it. I did a solo of track 1...

Here you go, I played your midi first on one DR then on 2. keep in mind my MIDI controller dosn't have pich bend or polynote "yet" so it's dosn't sound as good. wink

Not a bad start Eric. That is comparable to my first MIDI controller about 9 months ago. I saw what my controller lacked and started a whole new design from scratch...

There doesn't appear to be an intermission in your video at the 45 second mark. Do you handle velocity properly?

The most noticeable absence in your video is pitch bend. Chords will only help fill in a few gaps...

Keep up the good work. :)
