Hi,
I'm currently working on an SSTC driver based on Steve Ward's improved PLL driver. Because I am lazy and wanted to power everything from 12 V, I decided to use another schmitt trigger/inverter: the 40106 instead of the 74HC14.
However, I just noticed the propagation time for the 40106 can be up to 4 times higher than that of the 74HC14. I am assuming this can be accounted for by adjusting the delay compensation in the circuit, but I'm not entirely sure.
Can anyone confirm or disconfirm this? Thanks
PS. Switching frequency will be somewhere in the range 250 kHz < f < 350 kHz.

That's good to hear. :)
Of course, I should've figured this myself because there's no reason why the delay compensation would work for delays caused by the drivers/mosfets but not for delays in the feedback...
