why is it that recently on this site i continually cannot veiw pages due to a screen wide warning that this page can harm my computer, also malware detections?

It sounds like your computer has been infected with something. Do you have antivirus software installed and if so what is the name? Post a screenshot so we can see how the warning looks.

Its probably not that - in another thread, a regular poster's web site from which they serve images has become reported as infected - this causes Goggle Chrome and possibly other browsers to issue a warning screen about proceeding - because some of the images are embedded in his forum posts, simply accessing certain threads on 4hv to browse them can cause the users' browser to warn them that they are accessing a page that accesses a reportedly/potentially infected server...
I and others have notified the user concerned, and he has stated he is aware of the issue.

His avatar is linked from the infected site, that is causing the warning on every thread he has posted. The site itself seems to have been disabled now.
