Hello,

I have these two caps up for trade:

PEH200YT4220MU2 by RIFA
Specs:
450V
2200uF
Low-ESR

Th

I am looking to trade for another electrolytic same 450V rating but with 4400uF+ capacitance, similar series from RIFA is preferred, but not a requirement. I am also looking for some 942C caps and would be willing to trade for a few of those. These caps are brand new and unused, I would like it if the trade item was in the same unused condition.

Please PM offer or just post in thread.

Best Regards,
brtaman

On Saturday i'm going to a surplus electronics store. If you still haven't found one, i would be happy to pick a few up for you. The deals there are very good. I would wend them over for what i pay + a flat rate box. I'm estimating it would be like 20 shipped.

How many caps did you need at that voltage and capacitance?

I do not have anything like that, but i am just unclear. Best i have is some CDE 11,000uf 250vdc caps, with wussy terminals tongue. That brings me to another question, what duty will they see? I guess drsstc, Mr. i can push wussy IGBTs to over 20000 times their rating. That is why i am interested in these caps, mine have too small terminals, even though rated for 39 amps RMS...

Or, what kind of 942C caps are you looking for? 'Typical' .15uf 2000vdc? How many of these would you want for these caps? But, i am sure shipping to USA would really *suck*.

Matthew.

Don't forget to include your location, brtaman!

Two smaller capacitors may well perform better than a single one of twice the capacitance.

Hey,

William Monk, thank you very much for the offer, very cool indeed. However as Steve mentioned I should have included my location in the opening post. Unfortunately I am currently located in the EU and USPSs new international package regime makes all but the smallest packages quite expensive to send.

Arcs: We shall discus it further on hvcomm, but I fear shipping costs would be the main problem, considering that the tiny 4cx250bm cost ~10$ to send, these caps are quite a good deal larger and heavier.

Steve, I also believe that two would be superior, however that would mean making new busbars and completely changing my coils layout, whereas 1 larger cap would fit perfectly.

Best Regards,
brtaman
