recall the similar lights just before the China 'quake ?

What lights before the China quake are you referring to Conundrum? I recall video of iridescent clouds but not of lights?

This is a very interesting field of study and one that, like ball lightning, struggles for acceptance amongst main stream science. For those unfamiliar with his work, Dr. Freund Link2 has what is IMO one of the more interesting theories on how a large amount of uncompensated charge might appear during seismic events. He has amassed some interesting experimental evidence in support of his theory.

yes there were irridescent clouds and lights, but few if any videos of the latter.
