This cap box (5-5-2-2-1) is rated 15ufd 600 VDC 115 VAC 10 amps 400-2400 Hz

Best of all I fished 6 of them out of a water filled scrap barrel at the university recycle/saless hut and got them free (because they were wet). Hermetically sealed and build long ago-work just fine.

In electrolytics the electrloyte is where most of the heat comes from but that isn't the dielectric.

OK, let me rephrase that:

What makes crappy microwave oven caps, with their non-extended-foil construction and leadouts that are simply wedged into the rolled-up capacitor, heat up when used in a Tesla coil tank circuit... is mostly I2R heating from RMS current.

The dielectric in them is Mylar or something, which isn't terribly good either, but the internal resistance of the leads is much worse.

You can find other cases with other kinds of capacitors where dielectric heating does dominate.
