I've got my new site up. It's a beaut. I've added more to the DRSSTC Log, added several sections, and made it look somewhat professional(finally!). If you've got time, head over and see what you think. I haven't uploaded everything yet, just in case there's something horribly wrong with it; I won't have to redo everything. Includes a few new articles too, along with updates to all the old ones.

Feel free to pester me with anything right down to if you think the inferface is ugly, load times, whatever.

Thanks.

Opps! No link. *embarrassed* Link2
My signature link doesn't work again either. angry

Looks pretty cool to me, but why just the "I li" on your SGTC page?

That's a filler. I haven't finished the rest yet. If I didn't leave something there, the stupid WYSIWYG dreamweaver would change the color to black. The DRSSTC one says "I live" It's basically a copy of the bio with the words backed out.

That reminds me, I need to upload the DRSSTC and the new bio pages.

EDIT=> Done. Fixed the pics on the topload page too.

Crap. Every site I link to shows up under my frameset. How do I fix that?
Another thing I was wondering. I used to show up on google. Now I don't. Why would that happen? I show up on yahoo? confused I didn't ever register with them?

Sweet! I'm in the yahoo cache! Now I'm immortal. Muhahaha!

Looks good!
I have to admit I love the simple 'built in notepad' sites (especially the ones who added the line of code to give a nice deep blue background), but your site is still pretty cool wink

I did notice a few things...
the counter seems kind of out of place, do you think you could find one that is a little less tall, or atleast doesn't have a shadow arround it?

The e-mail thing seens kind of tacky, if you insist on removing your adress I would put it on a seperate contact page. I kind of have my doubts as to if it is really worth it these days, most places have an integrated spam filter, and I have yet to find someone who has proven that their spam is from bots... I think it was Matt who posted a yahoo adress on the forum to see it anything came?

The 'hobbies' link is dead...

All of your links are dark blue, the background is black. This makes for a less than optimal redng experiance...

And most importantly... more pages!

Hey thanks!

Yeah, I really hate the counter. I had a really cool one built, but my ISP's server won't let me set write permissions to a textfile. That means I can't do some other cool stuff I wanted to do as well. frown When I called them about it, nobody knew what was going on or how to help. Typical. So, I wound up using the stock one until figured something out.

I started to build it in notepad but... confused confused and confused ! Especially when you get to playing with drawing menus by code, javascript. Yeesh, I don't have time for that. But yeah, I've got a special place in my heart for those sites too.

I drew everything including the buttons, menus, and "do not cross" bar in fireworks, just to see if I could. I have a special place too for those that steal material mistrust , and I needed the practice. Thanks for the complement.

I was wondering about the e-mail thing. I've got my address on my other site and have recieved no spam at all, but then I see alot of sites do that. So maybe I will change it back.

More pages will come as soon as I can get to it.

Bio Page 1 , Paragraph 1 , Line 1, Word 33, should read Acres, not Arces. (Not nitpicking, honest)
And be careful with the pit you have dug, They tend to trap gasses and kill people, an Evac pump wouldn't be a bad idea.

Looks pretty nice in my opinion. Good work so far, hope it keeps this momentum.

I just remembered about your DRSSTC Q/A. It would be nice to fill in some more details. Well, ive got 2 weeks of school left (so im damn busy), but maybe later i can help clarify some of the blurry areas.

to open links in a new window use;
target="whatever-name-here"
within the A tag (don't use any name you have set for your frames tho)

google can take 6 weeks or more to update

agreed with the comment re dark blue links on black background making reading difficult, a style sheet can be used for colouring links

keep up the good work, and don't worry about spammers, i've had email addresses on my site for a few years now and get no more than 5 spam emails a day

Sure! That'd be awesome.

LOL! Oh, my. Wow, someone actually read it. BTW, nitpicking welcome. wink

Thanks stop4stuff, I'll put that in when I get the chance I didn't know where to look, and I'll fix the links too. I haven't uploaded "hobbies" or "links" yet, so that's why they don't work.

Thanks for all your input guys!

Lookin pretty good man!

Mine still looks like Frell, but I'm tweaking it. I want my Tesla coil area to have simulated outputs, plots, lots of results, a Procedure for one!, but very little background. Why no background?! Because my area will be devoted Not to Building, anyone can build a Tesla coil, rather I want my site to be somewhere you go to Optimize the system. That's what's relavent to me. Maximum performance, minimum power! Always!

Unfortunately, I have to deal with what I have for free, less I figure out how to upload templates from Word to AOL and maintain maximum allocatable file space for pictures. God I love pictures, lots and lots of 'em.
