I also have a nylon thermo-suit like the one below. It is brilliant, because it is very warm, its rugged enough for me to work in without tearing, it is windtight and water-repellant, it has no openings where snow can come in, and with zippers down the legs i can even put it on while wearing my boots.
But the nicest trick is that if i get lost or im caught in a snowstorm, i can pull in my legs and arms and use it as a sleeping bag. Combined with a warm wool sweater you could survive in really cold weather for days.

Hi Guys, Thanks for links and hints. Unfortunately, only insulation will not solve my problem - I tried different things including specialized winter biking shoes made of neoprene. I’m talking about temperatures well below -8 C and mostly only downhill tracks. Probably the heated insoles suggested by Steve look like the easiest and most reliable solution of my problem. The “wirellesness†is something what would shift such thing into something pretty cool – a real challenge for “4HVerâ€.
BTW: Flat spiral might not be necessary solution of induction based heating. What if the inductor would be solved as a kind of a pedal clip?
