Conundrum

Hi all.

This POS pencam whose seller no longer exists on ebay has stopped working :(

it did work fine- once. Now all that happens is a yellow light comes on and nothing else.
Does not show up on "My Computer" nor in drive information.

The internal Lipo cell is sitting at 3.2V, despite leaving it plugged in overnight to charge.

any ideas? i'd hate to chuck Â£29.00 away like this :(

i also have an htc touch dual phone which no longer charges, any ideas?

Try charging the cell manually and see if that helps.

We shall all keep our eyes open for this Mr. Kaputski and make sure we don't buy any of his stuff.

tried subbing in a spare lipo cell and no effect.

when i plug it in with one of the buttons held in windows sees it as "usb device" but can't find a driver.

i have found it is PID_0666 if that helps, some sort of generic USB device.

maybe some kind of firmware recovery mode?
