Well i located the two input pins, submerged it under oil and ran the coil, it gave very high voltage output, heres the results

If you use a relay oscillator, and have the battery in series with the coil and the contacts, use a capacitor across the contacts, like the kind found in the distributor of 'old' cars. they were about 0.4 uF.
and rated in high 100's of volts. Without that cap you got no spark,
so you walked. I once pinched the suppression cap off the alternator to get home.

There are coils that are not legal for the street in the USA but for racing, especially drag racing that are very dangerously powerful. They have warning stickers all over them when you get them from junk yards, etc.
I have only seen one guy who had a working one and it put down 6cm of the thickest spark I've seen from a coil. This was NOT from mains but a 24 v supply!
You can find them on the web - under "non-street legal coils, Mallory". The specs are quite unique!
The guy used a 555 driver but it kept having problems.

I have got my relay oscillator working and I have had the best results with a 1.2 uF motor start cap.
About 40kv and with parallel antiphase coils 80kv.
