This is becoming old news, but it is still worth a post here.
The 9th of december, about 7.50 AM, this large white spinnig spiral was seen in the sky above Norway from Alta in the north to Trøndelag in the south. Experts from the norwegian space agency Norsk Romsenter are convinced that this is the trail of a rocket that has failed catastrophically.
This rocket was supposedly launched from a russian submarine in Kvitsjøen, but the russian north fleet deny this. It has also been speculated that the rocket was lauched from a swedish research center in Kiruna, but they claim that no rockets have been launched from their site since november.
It must have been a beautiful sight, and if i could just drag my lazy ass out of the bed a little earlier in the morning then i just might have catched a glimpse of it myself. And what a perfect christmas present for conspiracy theorists!

I should point out that the Russians have come forward and said it was indeed one of their Bulava ICBMs, failing (again, this is the 6th such failure).
