Which video was it?

If it was mine, the coil I used is described here: Link2

The circuitry that converts the guitar signal to control the Tesla coil is not shown, you'll have to figure it out yourself. :P

If you don't understand it is not safe for you to build one.

If you want help you need to ask specific questions and show that you know what you are doing. Start with a small simple tesla coil and when you have figured out how it all works you can try to build a larger more complicated design. All the information you need is in the forum, the archives and the wiki so please don't ask for any complete plans, use google for that.

Crank, as Bjorn said, all the information is on the forum, wiki, and google. Building a DRSSTC is a lot more involved than just following a schematic, it takes a lot of study to understand how it works so that you can figure out what is wrong with it once it is built (always the case).
You've already been pointed to an appropriate page by the guy who actually made the "Tesla guitar amp" as you call it, and if you can't understand it then you have no business trying to build it.
Good luck, hope you don't give up, it is a rewarding hobby.

maybe you could start by building an SSTC... once you get the hang of things, you could step it up to a DR.. then adding the audio mod :)
