Hello:
I have 2 new "hockey puck" SCR's, with the gate wire hook up wires, and connectors. These SCR's are rated at 1.6KV at about 1000A, the surg rating is over 10,000 amps. I have the printed spec sheets to go with them also. I would be willing to let them both go for what I paid for them, which was $30.00 USD each. They have never been used, and they are US made not cheap Chinese ones. The vendor price is about $550 each, and they are still available so it is not an old design style.
I purchased these to control the output of my pulse laser (See the thread on forced commutation of SCR's) These SCR's became surplus for me before I could use them, because some new big IGBT's became available. The maximum current for my laser is about 800A, so I just do not need 10,000A, and I have to be able turn it off, due to having a simmer power supply. I just kept these SCR's figuring that they would make a very nice welder some day. But if you want them you can have them for my cost. Shipping would be about $9.00 USD in a flat rate box.
